Hey everybody. Once again we’re into my favourite part of the year. I like the cheesy movies, the decorations, and the music. Particularly the music. 

Not all the music of course. There’s that abomination by Paul McCartney, “A Wonderful Christmas Time” and the excruciating “Christmas Canon” by Trans-Siberian Express. Both are excellent examples of what not to do with electronic keyboards.

A fairly recent dark horse that gets some flack is “Driving Home For Christmas” by a British artist known more for blues than MOR. Chris Rea released it in 1986 but it didn’t start to catch on in North America until the 2000s. 

Make no mistake, this is a gem.
