Season’s Greetings
Hey Everbody
It’s 11:45 PM Christmas Eve. I haven’t got enough time to write one of my usual long winded missives but I thought I’d at least send off a quick festive note.
There’s a little bit of snow on the ground, the hedge by my front porch is lit with 125 multi-coloured lights, there’s a 12 pound turkey waiting to be cooked, a tree with hundreds of ornanments in my living room, two kinds of beer in the fridge, a wonderful girlfriend asleep on the couch and a brother who I haven’t seen since he went downstairs to the bar to fetch drinks for us an hour ago.
For a lot of people, 2024 has been a great year in some respects and a major disappointment in others. For me, personally, there were way more good things about it than bad.
I’ll be getting into more detail about that in my New Year’s post coming up in a few days.
Merry Christmas
